Dr. Bjarne R. Bartlett is an award winning molecular biologist. He is a current postdoctoral scholar in Food Science and Technology at Oregon State University. Bjarne received his doctoral degree from the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa where he was a graduate fellow with the Hawaiʻi Data Science Institute specializing in bioinformatic approaches for tropical plant genomics. He has published research in journals such as Science, The New England Journal of Medicine, and Plants, People, Planet (PPP) across the fields of cancer, plant, and yeast genomics. He has also published data science research for diversity, equity, and inclusion using large datasets.
